THIS year’s Christmas Jumper Day was another enormous success and had already raised over €15,000 for St Vincent de Paul.

Organised by the charity with Radio Kerry, it saw people all over the county in schools and businesses don the jumper and donate to the great cause on Friday, December 15.

People were asked to register online and were supplied with a collection box.  The radio station also displayed photos from various businesses on their social media sites.

Junior Locke of St Vincent de Paul said the charity was delighted with the amount raised so far and thanked Radio Kerry and the general public for their generosity this Christmas.
