Senior: Churchill host Keel in the second group game of the County Championship this Sunday at 2:30pm in Churchill. Our lads will be looking to bounce back into contention after an opening defeat to Listowel Emmets. Come along and support the lads.

Scór na bPáistí: Congratulations to Lily Parker who came second in the solo singing category in the County Final of Scór na bPáistí last Saturday held in Glenbeigh. Having successfully completed earlier rounds to reach the final this was a great achievement by Lily & there must have been very little between herself & the winner from Glenflesk in the end.

Academy: Churchill Academy will continue as usual at 11am on Sunday morning in the Spa.  Don’t forget to bring suitable footwear, gumshield, a drink and €2.  Our numbers are growing every year and we had 40 kids in the Under 6 age group last weekend, which is great to see.

U12 Girls: Well done to our U12 girls who beat Kerins O’Rahillys on Sunday in Ballyrickard.  This was a fantastic team performance and every girl is showing great improvement every week.  Training continues on Saturday morning for U10 and U12 girls at 10:30 in The Spa.

Friends of Churchill: The dressing rooms are progressing well with our teams using the facilities for the last few weeks, all be it without the showers, which are the next element of the works.

The cost of the work to date has been in excess of €400,00 and the Friends of Churchill has been extremely well supported with approximately €45,000 raised.

We need to give it one last push to enable the works to be completed and we are asking those who are considering contributing to make contact with the club over the next few weeks.

We understand that it is a big ask, but our growing club needs to have improved facilities to meet demand now and in the future.

Summer Variety Show: Preparations are coming along nicely for our Churchill GAA Summer Variety Show, which takes place this May Bank Holiday Sunday in Ballyroe Heights Hotel.  Demand for tickets has been strong so avoid disappointment and pick yours up from any member of the executive, priced at €20.
