Churchill 1-11 1-11 St Pats

The Churchill B team drew with St. Pats in The Spa on Friday evening. Their final match in the group stages is vs Castlegregory next Friday 12th June in the Spa @ 7:30pm. A victory should ensure qualification for the knock out stages.

Senior County League

Our Senior team also play Castlegregory in their next match, in Churchill on 13th June @ 7:30pm. A victory is a must to ensure promotion from Division 4 remains a realistic possibility. All support appreciated.

Community Games U-10

Pride of place last week must go to the Spa/Fenit/Barrow Community Games U-10 Football team who participated in the Community Games on Bank Holiday Monday in Na Gaeil. In what can only be described as monsoon conditions, the boys put in a fantastic performance, winning 2 of their 3 pool games, beating Ardfert (holding them scoreless) and Dromid and only being narrowly defeated by Kilcummin. As 3 teams finished level on points in their group, the winners were decided by total points scored and our lads had scored just 1 point less than Kilcummin and so lost out on a semi-final place by the narrowest of margins.

Well done to the boys who put in 3 tremendous performances and well done and thanks to all the parents and supporters who braved the elements.
