Our Senior team has their last game of the year next Sunday at 2pm in Churchill vs Firies. This is a must-win game if we are to maintain our Division 4 status for another year. Please come along and support the team.
Juvenile Awards
Congratulations to all our young players, from U-6 to U-16 who received their medals at the annual awards ceremony in Ballyroe Hotel last Sunday. The All-Ireland Junior and Minor trophies were on display and the medals were presented by our Kerry panellists on those teams, Mikey Brennan and Eoghan O’Brien. Kerry player Barry John Keane was also on hand to give words of encouragement to our young players.
A special presentation was made by Club Chairman Mikey Moriarty to Tom Crowley in honour of his many years of hard work and dedication to Juvenile football in Churchill.
Even though the playing and training activities have finished for the year, remember to keep practicing during the winter and we look forward to seeing everyone back again next year.
Club Mass
The annual Club Mass was celebrated last Sunday in Churchill in memory of deceased former members of the club. Thanks to everyone who took part, particular the local band of young musicians.
Mentors Mystery Tour
The end of season mystery tour takes place next Saturday 14th November, with the bus leaving The Oyster at 7pm sharp. Anyone interested in joining the tour should give their name to Aidan Murphy.
