Seniors: Well done to Eoghan O’Brien and Ivan Parker who are part of the Kerry U21 squad named to play Clare in the quarter final of the Munster Championship. These two have shown great talent and dedication through the ranks and it is great to see them reaping the rewards of that.

Churchill begin their Co League campaign this Sunday at home to Cordal in the new pitch in Churchill. Throw in is at 2pm and all your support would be greatly appreciated.

Minors: Our minors had a narrow loss to Ballymac in the opening round of the county league on a scoreline of 0:09 to 2:07. However, they have a chance to bounce back from that defeat when they travel to Beaufort this Saturday. That one throws in at 4pm.

Under 16: Churchill U16’s have a challenge game at home to Keel at 4pm on Sunday, directly after the Senior match.

Child Welfare: There was a great turnout of mentors and officers at our Children’s Welfare Workshop last Wednesday evening. The event was directed by Bernie Reen, Child Welfare Officer for Kerry, assisted by Delores Parker, who has taken on the role of Child Welfare Officer for Churchill GAA.

Defibrillators: The defibrillators are located in the cabinet in the Oyster Tavern and in the portacabins at the back of Spa Seafoods. Thanks to Jim McGrath and Bert Walsh for facilitating us with this.
