Senior B: Churchill B team are in Championship action this Thursday evening in Churchill. Throw in versus St Senans is at 7pm.

Academy: After a break last weekend, Academy training resumes as normal at 11am on Sunday morning. Don’t forget to bring water, gum shield and €2.

U11:On Monday evening our u11s played Austin Stacks in Connolly Park in Round 2 of the Central league.  We started strongly and helped by goals from Maurice and Billy we built an early lead.

The boys played some fantastic football in the first 20 minutes and led comfortably before a late surge from Stacks brought them back into the game. We led at half time 3-3 to 2-4 thanks to a fantastic save by Rory Boyd just before the break.

We started the second half with a great attitude and pulled away from the opposition. During this period Hugh, Mark and Josh dominated the middle sector and provided the platform for the forwards to keep the scoreboard tipping over.

Ryan ,Rory, Daithi and Art also shored things up at the back and made it hard for Stacks to get scores. Conor was very successful with his kick outs and our full forward line of Donnacha and Tom kept the full backs on their toes at all times.

Churchill ran out winners on a scoreline of 5-10 to 4-06.  We will try to make it 3 wins in a row against Keel on Monday evening but will need to be at our best to do so.  Training continues at 5.30pm in our Spa pitch st 5.30pm.

U13: Churchill U13s travelled to play John Mitchels in a highly entertaining game in the Tralee Town Board Division 2.  Conditions were poor prior to the match and some confusion meant the game was delayed until 7pm.

We played with the wind in the first half in the middle of a tremendous downpour where conditions were terrible. The play was all one end and we pinned Mitchels into their own half for most of the half.

We led 5-8 to no score at half time and the rain stopped.  After a necessary change of jersies to keep warm, we defended our lead in the second half.

John Mitchels stormed back into the game but we picked off a few scores to keep us ahead.  It finished 5-13 to 5-3.  Next games at home to St Pats blennerville this Friday and Na Gaeil next week.
