CHURCHILL GAA has thanked its juvenile club sponsors for their continued support of the club.
The sponsors of the boys and girls teams from Under 5 to Under 18 level gathered at the club grounds at Churchill on Sunday.
Over the past number of years, the Juvenile academy has gone from strength to strength with increasing numbers of young people playing the game on a weekly basis.
The club now have a committed team of mentors at each age group who each week derive a huge sense of satisfaction from coaching the young people.
In addition to developing players and coaches the club plans to develop the facilities and equipment, and this would not be possible without the generosity and kindness of local businesses and the community.
On that note a team was formed this year led out by Ronan Falvey (U12 girls coach) and David Rolls (Juvenile Chairperson) to ensure all the children from U5 to U18 were fully kitted out. 310 children got shorts, half zips, t-shirts and socks a massive thanks to several supportive sponsors.
