CIRCUS performers from all over flocked to Tralee last weekend as part of the annual National Circus Fesitval, which is held exclusively in town.
The festival took place in numerous venues around the town, offering both indoor and outdoor entertainment. At a time of year when the county is in a lull before the Christmas madness, the Festival adds some much needed colour and excitement to Tralee.

The woeful weather didn’t deter circus fans from viewing shows in The Square, but there was plenty of opportunity to keep warm and watch acts from the safety of Siamese Tire theater.
The festival took place over four days. Along with scheduled shows, there were also workshops for kids and a circus convention.
The event which began as a humble juggling festival 12 years ago provides a massive shot in the arm for businesses in the town at a difficult time of year.
