KERRY Sinn Féin councillor Cathal Foley has welcomed a commitment from management of Kerry County Council to explore ways of providing specific over 70s only time periods at certain parks throughout the county.

“At an online meeting of Tralee Municipal District on Wednesday, I asked management to consider providing reserved time periods in our parks,” said the Tralee MD councillor.

“This would ensure those who are isolating because of age or serious underlying medical conditions can exercise in a secure environment without meeting too many other people.

“I welcome the commitment of management of Tralee Municipal District to explore ways of providing this measure at Tralee Wetlands.”
