A COFFEE morning held back in October raised €1,400 for Recovery Haven.
Nutrifit for Women at Princes Street held the event on October 23 where members brought in cakes, buns, pies and scones and there was a great turnout.
Majella Duignan of the Nutrifit dedicated the month of October to raising funds for Recovery Haven and the proceeds were presented to Marisa Reidy of Recovery Haven on Monday.
“We’re very happy, there was great generosity shown for such a fantastic cause,” said Majella. “We hope to be able to do more in the future. €1,400 is a very substantial sum and we’re delighted to present it to Recovery Haven.”
