Community Energy Mentor Course Starting In Dingle

A NEW Community Energy Mentor course is starting in Dingle shortly. This programme is delivered by Kerry ETB / Kerry College of Further Education.

The purpose of this course is to introduce and educate participants to the concepts of energy sustainability, the goals of energy technology assessment, and the promotion of sustainable energy technologies at community level.

The aim of the course is that participants will gain the knowledge and skills required to manage and assist in future Dingle SEC community awareness and information events and the proposed weekly Energy Clinic.

The course provider is the Kerry College of Further Education & Training, in association with Dingle Sustainable Energy Community (SEC)

The location of the course is Údarás na Gaeltachta, Páirc Ghnó an Daingin, Dingle. It’s a 12 week course (Part-time) – 2 days per week (Wednesdays & Thursdays) and starts on November 13 from  9:00 am – 4:15 pm.
