Company To Create Up To 50 Jobs At New Tralee Hub Next Year

THE Waterford-based Akusus Group is planning to add 350 jobs in Ireland and the US in 2022, including up to 50 in Tralee.

The Sunday Independent has reported that the company is to create a new hub in Tralee next year, initially employing 40 to 50, but growing the workforce to 200 to 250 employees over the next three years.

The Akusus Group —  which has recently appointed Castleisland native Liz Shanahan as its Chairperson — includes Rigneydolphin and RelateCare and provides consulting and outsourcing services.

The company is headquartered in Waterford City, with hubs in Cleveland, Ohio and Little Rock, Arkansas. It employs more than 1,300 people, with 950 of those employees in Ireland.

Ms Shanahan has more than 25 years’ experience working with the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare providers. She said she is delighted to announce the company’s expansion into Kerry.
