THE launch of ‘Cook for Recovery’, took place at Ballyroe Heights Hotel in Sunday during the Connect Ladies Lunch in aid of Recovery Haven.

‘Cook for Recovery’ is a wonderful cookbook for all the family to try, full of delicious recipes from hotels and restaurants all over the county of Kerry and some celebrities and well known local people feature their favourite recipe also.

Some of the people supporting the book include actors Tom Vaughan Lawlor and Tim Murphy and Radio Kerry’s Deirdre Walsh.

It has been created to raise funds for Recovery Haven Kerry, which is a haven for cancer patients, their families and carers. The book retails at €20 and will be available in shops all over the county from this week and will make a wonderful Christmas Gift .

Proceeds from the sale of the book will go directly to Recovery Haven Kerry to ensure in the continuation of their free services continue.

Cook for Recovery is now available at Recovery Haven Kerry in Haig’s Terrace, Tralee, in Ballybeggan Hair & Beauty Salon, in  bookshops at O’Mahonys Bookshop, First Chapter, Polymath, in Tralee.  It is also  available at Easons Killarney and  Easons Listowel, at the Dingle Book shop  and Kenmare  Book Shop.
