Donie Horan has described rumours that retail giant Iceland are on the way to the Horan Centre as “just speculation”.
BRITISH frozen food giants Iceland could be close to opening up a new store in Tralee…but where?
Speculation has been triggered after the job of Iceland Tralee Store Manager was advertised online recently, although at this point there has been no official confirmation from Iceland, who over the past six months been expanding their operations in Munster.
A possible location touted for the new Iceland store has been the Horan Centre but when we contacted Donie Horan of the Horan Centre about the rumours he said that was “just speculation”.
Iceland’s second store in the region opened in Midleton, Cork, last November. It was understood at the time they were also looking at outlets in Limerick, Cork city, Mallow and Fermoy.
In total there are eight Iceland outlets nationwide which sell both fresh and frozen food.
