KERRY County Council and Kerry Fire Service have reiterated their appeal to members of the public to desist from the setting of illegal gorse fires.
The appeal comes following reports of fires in parts of the county on Saturday. The Council is asking landowners not to place any additional strain on emergency services at a time of national crisis and when emergency services are involved in supporting the national response on COVID-19.
