“Kerry County Council works closely with enterprise development agencies including Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland in attracting business and investment to the county and growing our employment base,” said Bridget Fitzgerald, Economic Development Officer at Kerry County Council.

“In working with other agencies and our own Local Enterprise Office to achieve greater employment locally, it is essential that we are equipped with the necessary information about our skills base and strengths of our existing and potential workforce.”

“Our people and the skills they possess are our greatest asset and it important that we know what our skills baseis and what skills are needed to enhance our attractiveness as a place to work and to do business. The information gathered from this survey will strengthen our capacity to generate investment and economic development in Kerry,” said Ms Fitzgerald.
