THE Tralee-Fenit Greenway project is on schedule and is due to be completed by the middle of 2021.
Fianna Fáil Cllr Mikey Sheehy requested an update on the project at Monday’s meeting of Tralee Municipal District councillors.
By February 26, almost 25% (2,590m) of the tracks have been removed with 30% (3,190m) of the vegetation taken away.
The Council said the project is proceeding according to the initial programme. Management also said consultations with landowners are continuing as the project progresses.
The Council be better off putting the money into Housing ,road repairs, repairing Lighting in Monavally , Oakpark and all the outskirts of the town,
