COVID Can’t Stop Annual Mercy Mounthawk Fundraising Fashion Show

IN this most surreal of years, some things remain the same…well, sort of!

The annual Mercy Mounthawk Fashion Show will return once again but, of course, it’s going to take place online due to COVID restrictions.

“The theme of this year’s show is ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’. Reflective of the times we live in, it gives students the opportunity to connect with others and also give back to our community,” said teacher Stacey O’Leary.

“It’s going virtual this year with the link becoming available through our school website  on Thursday, December 3,” added Stacey.

The beneficiary charity this year is Saint Vincent De Paul the link the link will be available on the night for people to click and donate to the charity.

The TYs, along with their teachers Ms Stacey O’Leary and Ms Mari Kearney (fashion show coordinators), Ms Karen O Carroll Ms Emma Nolan Ms Rachel O’Neill and Ms Shauna Williams (music and dance teachers) have been working very hard over the last number of weeks to put the show together.

The show will be slightly different this year as they have themed categories and students upcycled outfits they have at home.

They will also be showcasing some new designs from That’s Perfect  and have organised some celebrity guests appearances throughout the show. So click on to www.mercymounthawk.ie on the night to enjoy the show.
