CRAFT Makers on Ashe Street has reopened for Christmas.

Running from Friday, November 24 until Christmas Eve the shop on Ashe Street  which closed in June this year, houses a gift shop and gallery for this run and the project hopes to pop up again in Tralee next summer.

Opening times are 9.30am to 5.30pm each day and from 12 noon on Sundays.

In summertime they will reintroduce their craft skills workshop programme but right now the Centre is focussed on gifting for Christmas.

Craft Makers promotes a Make, Learn, Buy philosophy “We are really looking forward to being back and hope we will have something for everyone and for all purses…we love Christmas time at Craft Makers as gift giving comes into its own and we personally wrap all our gifts and make sure our customer knows how where each piece is made and who makes it”, stated Deirdre Enright.

Supporting the centre ensures support for the craft and design industry in Kerry and this support directly transfers into the local economy. They are also promising a hot drink or two to warm cold hands on these winter days. See www.craftmakers.ie
