Speaking to Fintan Ryan, CEO, Tralee Credit Union; “Prizegiving Night is a great night for our winners and their families and is testimony of the commitment students, parents, teachers and schools give to the support of our youth activities.

This year we received over 500 entries to the Credit Union Art Competition so it was an opportunity to display and showcase the work of our talented art competition winners. We were very proud to have the Tom Markham Cup and the Minor All-Ireland Champions Tomás O’ Connor and Michael Reidy, both from Ballymacelligott and Diarmuid O’Connor from Na Gaeil on hand to present the prizes.

All 1st prize winners will now go on to represent Tralee Credit Union at Chapter 23 (regional level) of the competition. Having received a great response to our education awards, a total of €10,500 were awarded to this year’s winners and Margaret Kellegher, daughter of the late Dan Kellegher presented cheques to our two Dan Kellegher Memorial Award Winners.
