Cyclist Who Died In Tonevane Road Collision Named

THE cyclist who died in the road collision at Tonevane on Tuesday evening has been named locally.

Thirty-nine year old Roger O’Halloran from Derrymore was involved the two car and pedal cycle collision where he was seriously injured and removed to Kerry University Hospital. He later passed away.

Two drivers a male in his early 40s and a female in her mid 50s were removed to hospital with minor injuries.

Gardaí are still appealing for witnesses who were in the townland of Tonevane between 8.10p.m and 8.30p.m. on Tuesday to contact them at Tralee Garda station 066 – 7102300, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
