DAFFODIL Day was launched on Monday at The Brogue Inn. It will take place on Friday, March 24, and will help raise vital funds for The Irish Cancer Society.

There will be 13 stations located around Tralee on the day, giving people plenty of opportunity to donate to the cause.

A very successful coffee morning was held last Friday at The Brogue, who sponsored the coffee, tea and scones.

They raised over €300 for the Irish Cancer Society. “The best ever!” said Chris Griffin, Chairperson.

They are still looking for volunteers the upcoming Daffodil Day, anyone interested can contact Chris Griffin at 087 2340426, or Ed O’Connor at 087 7794765.

The Irish Cancer Society aims to provide the public with information about cancer, provide services and support for patients and advocate for improvements in cancer care and treatment.
