FANS of Daft Punk may be hoping the French duo tour for the first time in ten years in 2017, but they can whet their appetites with a tribute act coming to Tralee during the May Bank Holiday weekend,
Da Funk bill themselves as the ultimate Daft Punk tribute act with famous helmets, a two-hour set featuring all the hits, a full lighting system and visual rig. They come to Fabrik nightclub on Sunday, April 30.
The show focuses on energy and crowd connection with the two live DJs on vinyl, simultaneously operating music, visuals and lights all in sync.
The famously secretive Daft Punk haven’t toured since 2017 but are more popular than ever thanks the multi-million selling 2013 album, Random Access Memories and recent collaborations with The Weeknd. There are rumours they may announce a tour this year but so far they’re remaining tight-lipped.
The next best thing could be a visit to Fabrik. Doors open 10.30pm and it’s free entry until 11.30pm, with €5 entry after 11.30pm.
