FIVE signed Kerry jerseys were presented to the winners of a competition which was part of a recent campaign to get people out cycling in the county during the summer.

Taking place between July 3 and August 16, the “Let’s Get Kerry Cycling” campaign was a collaborative effort from Kerry County Council, Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership/Sport Ireland and the Chain Gang Cycling Club.

Part of the campaign was a competition where photos were submitted of people on their bikes enjoying their cycle. The winners received Kerry jerseys signed by David Moran and presented by the man himself on Tuesday.

John Murray of the Chain Gang Cycling Club said the campaign was a great success. He said there was a good turnout for the cycles and the club was delighted to be part of the campaign.
