AFTER his man of the match winning performance on Sunday, it comes as no surprise to see Kerry’s David Moran voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The midfielder was inspirational against Dublin in the league final and earned 50% of the votes on the GAA’s Official Twitter (@officialgaa), Facebook, and Instagram pages with Tipperary’s Conor Sweeney second and Galway’s Paul Conroy third.
The Kerins O’Rahillys man got 4,534 (50 per cent) with Conor Sweeney (Tipperary) – 2702 (29 per cent) and Paul Conroy (Galway) – 1894 (21 per cent).
Moran was superb on Sunday scoring two points, the second of which was a real belter coming towards the end of the game and inspiring his teammates.
