KERRY County Council is to make a decision on a planning application for the construction of a new bar, restaurant and guesthouse in the town centre later this month.
Roscar Properties Ltd want to build the new premises at the site of Sol Travel, the old Bridge Inn) and Minstrels Bar at Bridge Street, Bridge Place, and New Road.

Existing buildings there will have to demolished to make way for the five-storey development, which includes a basement.
The new building is to be a 26-bedroom guest house, a bar/restaurant, and a retail unit. Kerry County Council is to decide on the planning application on February 24.
