THE winners of the Basketball Ireland Players and Coaches of the Month awards for March have been announced today and Garveys Tralee Warriors are among the winners again.
In fact, for the second month in a row, both star player Trae Pemberton and Head Coach, Mark Bernsen have scooped the Player and Coach of the Month awards.
Trae Pemberton was in form as Warriors secured the Champions Trophy title in an overtime thriller against Templeogue on Sunday, with the American getting a vital three-pointer in overtime to contribute towards the victory.
That’s not all in terms of Kerry wins as Keane’s SuperValu Killorglin bagged both the Men’s Player and Coach of the Month awards in Division One with Garny Garcia Nivar winning the player title and Coach James Weldon taking the coaching prize.
