The field was divided into 1000 equal squares by engineer John Lynch of Killorglin and project manager, James Godley.

At 2pm, Daisy the Cow was introduced to her new paddock by farmer, Shane Godley. The event was overseen by Kerry IFA Chairman, Kenny Jones and Cllr. Fionan Fitzgerald, Cathaoirleach of Castleisland/Corca Dhuibhne Electoral Area.

Rose and her big sister, Kate also kept a watchful eye on Daisy. After about 45 minutes of grazing on the new grass Daisy obliged with a significant “dump” and the winning square was identified as square number 310 which was purchased by Damian Moloney from north Kerry who won a luxurious two night stay at The Ballygarry House Estate and Spa, Tralee.

Rose and her family would like to say a special word of thanks to all who helped to make the event such a great success. For more information on Rose and her condition please visit www.helprosebloom.ie or www.GoFundMe.com/helprosebloom
