FUNDING of €590,000 has been announced for Institute of Technology Tralee to help meet the cost of much needed facilities and equipment.
“This funding is part of a €10 million Infrastructure Maintenance Fund Grant for Institutes of Technology,” said Kerry South Fine Gael Deputy Brendan Griffin, welcoming the news.
“It is a great boost for IT Tralee and will allow it to meet costs already incurred on a range of small-scale building works, refurbishment of existing facilities and upgrading equipment. This is work that is of benefit to all students,” he continued.
