Early Throw-In Times For Munster Finals In Killarney

AS has been the case over the past number of years, the Munster SFC final in Killarney between Kerry and Cork will have a 2pm throw-in on July 2.

This means the minor final between Kerry and Clare will start at noon, so football fans will need to get on the road early to get to the famous Fitzgerald Stadium.

Traffic on Munster final day from Tralee over the past few years has been chaotic — unless you leave at about 1oam — so you have been warned. Ticket details will be released in the next week but, as in recent years, it’s unlikely that it will be a sellout.

The last Munster final between the sides was in 2015 where a crowd of over 35,000 watched a thrilling drawn game in sunshine, while the replay in a rain-sodden Killarney drew 32,000.
