A CHILDREN’S Tea Party helped raise much needed funds for a great charity on Easter Sunday at the Ashe Hotel.

On Wednesday morning, the proceeds from the event were presented by the hotel to Kare4Kidz, which aims to provide support and financial assistance to families with children who are battling illness.

The hotel was delighted to help out and their function room was packed for the event last month with food and refreshments laid on by the hotel, fun and games, face painting and  a tea party with Alice and all her friends from Kingdom Party Pals.

The event was organised by the Ashe Hotel in association with Tralee Chamber Alliance and Tír na nÓg festival.

Chairperson of Kare4Kidz, Grace O’Donnell, was delighted with the hotel’s kind efforts and thanked them for the support.

“It’s great for us because we can help families who are going through enough trauma with their child being sick and many would be under financial pressure travelling up and down to hospital. It’s nice to be able to give them a little help out,” said Grace.
