THOUSANDS of people converged on Killarney Racecourse on Thursday afternoon for what many consider the highlight of the week.

Dawn Milk Ladies Day attracted phenomenal style as usual, with women from all over the country aiming to impress the judges, Mairead Ronan and John Nolan (winners of this year’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ competition on RTE) to win a trip for two to Paris as the top prize.

They had a tough job with all the glamour on display but in the end it was a local lady, Eileen O’Shea, from Killarney who won the trip to the City of Lights.

And it wasn’t just the ladies who were stepping out in style. The prize for Best Dressed Man was a trip for two to Milan, so the lads scrubbed up well too. In the end, Gary Moynihan from Killarney was adjudged the most dapper on a fantastic day of style and fun. For loads of photos from the day click here and here
