English Choir To Perform In Tralee And Ardfert In Aid Of Down Syndrome Kerry

Gledholt Male Voice Choir from Huddersfield.

A CHOIR from England will come to Tralee to perform three concerts next weekend with proceeds going to Down Syndrome Kerry.

The Gledholt Male Voice Choir from Huddersfield in Yorkshire, which numbers 32 members, is travelling from England to sing in Tralee.

They  will be performing three concerts in total, raising much needed funds for Down Syndrome Kerry. The first concert, which will be an informal evening of song and music, will take place at The Ashe Hotel in Tralee at 9pm on Friday May 10.

On Saturday May 11 the choir will be singing with the Kerry Choral Union in St. John’s Church  of Ireland church on Ashe Street Tralee at 7.30pm.

Ardfert Cathedral is the venue for the third concert, which will be an open air performance, on Sunday May 12 at 2.30pm, followed by refreshments in Ardfert Community Centre.

This promises to be a fabulous and unique event in the awe inspiring surroundings of the 12th Century Cathedral.

Tickets at €10 for each concert are available at The Ashe Hotel, and at the 321 Shop at 11 High Street, Tralee. They will also be available on the door.
