Enterprise Towns Event This Weekend Has Something For Everyone

THERE’LL be competitions, soccer and GAA blitzes, music, dancing and the best in local business on show at the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Towns event this Friday and Saturday.

Taking place at the Tralee Sports and Leisure Centre, the exhibitors will be wide and varied with mostly businesses on the Friday night and a great mix of business, sports clubs, societies and charities showing on the Saturday.

Exhibitors will include Hotels, Jewellers, Tourist Attractions, Health & Beauty, Foodies, Arts & Crafts, Agri, Retail, Sports Clubs, Societies, Volunteer Groups, Charities, RNLI, Gardai etc. many of whom will have competitions etc at their stands.

Friday night will see Gavin Duffy of Dragons Den fame open the event at 5.30pm, with “An energetic feast of local talent” show directed by Oliver Hurley. This is followed by a business panel discussion  with Dr Edmond Harty, Dairymaster, Caroline McEnery, The HR Suite, Joanna Kelly, Digital Greetings and Sean Ryan, Aspen Grove Solutions.

There will be local fashions on display and Irish music and dancing to bring proceedings to a close at 8.30pm.

On Saturday the fun gets underway at 10.15am with a soccer and GAA blitz with Lee Strand’s Mighty Mikey Milk appearing along with face painters.

Tralee Model Railways will have a big exhibition of trains on show on Saturday, Zumba dancers, African Drummers, goodie bags, a cookery demo from the Culinary Gangsters and much more.

Local Hero’s Panel discussion on Saturday hosted by the legendary Micheal O’Muircheartaigh, will feature panel members: Pat Flanagan, CARA, Elma Walsh, Donal Walsh Foundation, Jim Garvey, Garvey Group and Gemma O’Brien KYDS.

Sports Panel discussion on Saturday hosted by the greatest commentator of all time Micheal O’Muircheartaigh – Panel Members – John Lenihan, Hill Running, Kieran Donaghy, Kerry GAA and Warriors Basketball and Darren Aherne, Manager Kerry U-17 League of Ireland Team.
