TRALEE is ready for a big street party this evening and it’s very much a family affair.

At 5pm the ultimate disco band UV5 take to the Denny Street Stage to get things started. UV5 are described as ‘the gold standard of live music entertainment.

Delivering high energy shows around Ireland, the UK and Europe. With a set expertly designed for the dance floor, UV5 are a four-piece disco inferno that will whip crowds into a frenzy, and keep them coming back for more every time’.

There is a late-bar exemption as usual right throughout the town on New Year’s Eve, and the bars will have some excellent entertainment lined up.

Organisers recommend getting to Denny Street early with Denny Street (from Park Lane around to Ivy Terrace) closed to traffic from 4pm. UV5 are going to play from 5-7pm, pausing at 6pm to count-down the Fireworks show, before kicking the party into another gear to keep the crowds entertained.

The New Year’s Eve Fireworks by Tralee Chamber Alliance is supported by Kerry County Council’s Community Support Fund and lead-sponsor Cara Credit Union, along with sponsorship from Borg Warner, Yummy Café and Manor West Retail Park.
