The Fanzini Brothers, Con Horgan ( seen here with kids promoting the National Circus Festival of Ireland last year) will be performing again this year.

SPECTACULAR international circus acts, will perform at the 2015 National Circus Festival of Ireland which will be staged in Tralee from Thursday, November 12 to Sunday, November 15.

Locally based, Fanzini Productions have put together a full four-day programme of entertainment for all the family including Circus Workshops for children, a Juggling Convention and a free parade through the streets of Tralee.

“One of the key objectives of this festival is to give centre stage to some of the best up and coming Irish circus acts on our New Emerging Street Talent stage,” said the festival’s artistic director, Con Horgan.

The National Circus Festival of Ireland will start with fun lunchtime walkabouts from The Kamikaze Clownz and the Ballheads through the streets of Tralee from 12.30pm to 2pm on both Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November.

A trio of young jugglers called ‘Water of Mars’ will make thousands of catches and perform physical tricks that will defy belief in Siamsa Tíre Theatre on the Friday of the Festival.

Water on Mars Irish Premiere will be staged in Siamsa Tíre Theatre from 8.30pm on Friday followed by the Circus Sideshow at Fels Point Hotel from 10.30pm.

This year’s festival will also feature the Irish premiere of YouTube sensation, Selyna Bogino, an Italian foot-juggler, who will showcase her sultry skills during Circus Siamsa on the Saturday.

Circus Sideshow is a bespoke Festival Club full of pop-up performances, great music, circus décor and some great surprises.

At the heart of the festival is Circus Siamsa, a variety show for all the family, at Siamsa Tíre Theatre at 2pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, featuring some of the world’s best circus entertainers.

The Circus Workshops for children will take place at 11am and 12pm on Sunday in Fels Point Hotel, followed by the FREE Festival Parade at 2.30pm from Moyderwell to the NEST Stage at KDYS, Denny street.

The parade and NEST Stage entertainment are FREE while tickets to all performances in Siamsa Tíre Theatre, Circus Sideshow at Fels Point Hotel and the Convention events at Moyderwell and KDYS are available from SiamsaTire.com or call the Festival Box Office on 066 7123055

The Convention Ticket only costs €40 and includes access to the shows in Siamsa Tíre, Circus Sideshow at Fels Point Hotel, 4-day Convention Hall access and Convention Workshops (Children’s Workshops, which cost only €5, are not included in the Convention Ticket).

You can buy these tickets at the convention hall doors Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th, or in the Siamsa Tíre foyer on Fri 13th and Saturday 14th November.
