Fashion And Fun In Listowel For June Bank Holiday Racing

LISTOWEL Race Company this week officially launched their popular June Bank Holiday Race Meeting which will take place on the scenic course on Sunday, June 2nd and Monday, June 3.

Top fashion blogger, Helen Quealy Murphy, aka Daily Diva Diary, will judge the Listowel Races Ladies Day on the Sunday and with a total cash prize fund of €1,400, it is certainly worth dressing to impress.

As always, in addition to top quality National Hunt and Flat racing, the Listowel Racing Committee have organised music after racing each evening.

The Listowel Races Ladies Day is expected to attract large crowds from all over Munster. Judging will commence on course at 1pm, and Helen Quealy Murphy will personally walk the course and select 10 finalists.

The overall three winners will be announced in the parade ring after the 5th race. The Listowel Races Best Dressed Lady will receive a cheque for €800, the first runner up will receive a cheque for €400 and second runner up a cheque for €200.

With Ladies Day Competition and Free Children’s Amusements on the Sunday, Big Screen on both days and with great racing, there’s something for everyone this Whit Weekend in Listowel.”

Admission is only €15 each day / OAP / Students: €10 and children under 12 have free admission to the race course, when accompanied by an adult. Generous group discounts also available.
