FENIT RNLI  is holding a recruitment day on Sunday next, March 26, between 2.30pm-4.30pm. They are currently seeking volunteer crew members for both lifeboat and shore duties.

In inviting potential RNLI volunteers to visit the station on the recruitment day, Fenit RNLI Lifeboat Operations Manager, Gerard O’Donnell said; “this event is targeted at those who feel that they could contribute to any activities associated with the RNLI including lifeboat crew or helping with shore duties such as assisting with events, fundraising or any role that plays a part in helping to save lives at sea.

Fenit Lifeboat had forty callouts in 2016 as well as organising a number of fundraising events, for example, the annual fun cycle planned for May 17 this year, all of which requires the help of volunteers. This is a great opportunity to become part of an exceptional charity and become part of a team committed to saving lives”.

For further information, contact Gerard O’Donnell, Lifeboat Operations Manager on 0872569772 or by visiting the Fenit lifeboat station on the recruitment day where the management  and crew will be on hand to answer any questions.
