WITH Halloween over, many people’s thoughts turn to Christmas and the annual craziness of the shopping season.
While many children will be overloaded with presents, the pupils of St Brendan’s NS Fenit have been thinking of kids who will wake up with nothing on Christmas morning.
The youngsters there have been busy filling shoe boxes for the annual Team Hope appeal. This is where pupils fill a shoebox with toys and they are then shipped off to provide Christmas gifts for needy children in Africa or Eastern Europe. Well done kids!
The school wished to thank to the local community who also supported this appeal which will help to provide a happy Christmas for needy children.
