JUST under 50 of Ireland’s top dinghy sailors travelled from all over the country to take part in Tralee Bay Maritime Centre’s first Dinghy Performance Clinic in Fenit last week.
Top dinghy performance coaches from all over Europe flew in to coach these young, aspiring sailors on all aspects of sailing, skills and sports science including nutrition and fitness.
During the five day clinic, the sailors experienced fantastic range of weather conditions for sailing and stayed out sailing until dusk most days.
The clinic was such a huge success that there are plans to run many more Performance Clinics at Tralee Bay Maritime Centre in the near future.
