SIX units of the Fire Service attended to a blaze at a factory in Killarney this afternoon.
A call was received just after 12 noon reporting the fire at Tricel in Ballyspillane Industrial Estate. The company employs over 250 people.
The fire was brought under control after around 15 minutes. No-one was injured in the blaze and the it is believed the damage has been contained to one section of the plant. Investigations will take place as to the cause of the fire.
