TRALEE will host two celebration events for all ages in the town centre on New Year’s Eve.

A spectacular fireworks display at the Ashe Memorial Hall and a Countdown Clock by the Croppy Boy on Denny Street will book-end New Year’s Eve celebrations for people of all ages in Tralee on Saturday, December 31.

Organised by Kerry County Council and Tralee Chamber Alliance, the fireworks, which will take place at 7pm, were a spectacular success last year and families are encouraged to come down for the atmosphere.

Later that night, the Countdown Clock will ring in the New Year with a pyrotechnics display (but no fireworks!) and it’s hoped people will pop out of the pubs and restaurants to join the party atmosphere before midnight.

The full details of all remaining events during the Christmas Spraoi in Tralee, including the New Year’s Eve celebrations are available from www.Tralee.ie and the Christmas Spraoi in Tralee Facebook Page.
