2. Getting medieval…

Like last year, there will be a Viking tented encampment each day (10am to 5pm Sat; 11-5 Sun) where visitors can get an idea of what life was  like a thousand years ago from members of Deise Medieval who are visiting for the weekend.

If it’s blood you want (well ok, there won’t actually be any bloodshed), there will be 20 minute demos of combat tactics and displays of Anglo-Norman warfare at 11am, 2pm and 5pm on Saturday and 11.3oam, 2pm and 4pm on Sunday. It looks a bit like this from last year…

3. Dog Show…

The ever popular Dog Show takes place this year between 11.30am and 1.30pm on Saturday so get you pooch down there to compete. It’s held this year in association with Animal Help Net Kerry.

4. Kids stuff…

Lads, if you have children then you’re going to be sp0ilt for choice all weekend. At a glance there is Guido Fanzini’s Death Circus, Kiddies Disco games and fun, a Kiddies fun battle for children aged 4-10, the Keystone Cop will be on patrol and much more.
