A FLAG raising ceremony took place this morning at both Munster Technological University campuses in Tralee and Cork to mark the establishment of the new University on January 1, 2021.
MTU President, Prof. Maggie Cusack welcomed Mr Micheál Martin TD, An Taoiseach and Mr Simon Harris TD, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science to the Cork campus.
Ms Norma Foley TD, Minister for Education raised the flag at the Tralee campus along with Mr Jimmy Deenihan, Chair of MTU Governing Body.
