RECOVERY Haven Kerry will be flipping for funds on Tuesday, February 25, when the cancer support charity hosts its third annual fundraising pancake morning at Kirby’s Brogue Inn, Tralee.

Fiona Kirby and her team have once again joined forces with Recovery Haven Kerry to offer free pancakes with every tea or coffee purchased between 10am and 12 noon, with patrons being invited to make a donation to the charity in return.

The event is one of a number of fundraisers planned at Recovery Haven as the charity marks its 10th anniversary in 2020, and organisers are hoping that the public will pop into The Brogue and support them.

Thanking Fiona and her team at The Brogue for facilitating the event, Recovery Haven’s PR & Marketing Officer, Marisa Reidy, explained that the charity is simply asking patrons to make a donation to the charity on the day.

“The Brogue team have once again offered to provide free pancakes with every tea or coffee purchased between 10am and noon, and in return we would be extremely grateful if customers would make a small donation to Recovery Haven,” she said.

“Because we rely solely on donations and fundraising events to keep our doors open, the support of the local community to events such as this is vital in helping us continue our work.”

Recovery Haven Kerry provides free information and support services to families who have been through the life shattering experience of cancer. In 2019, he charity had almost 3,750 attendances to its cancer support services in Tralee, Killarney and Killorglin.
