Food And Craft Fair To Enhance The Festive Spirit At Manor This Weekend

MANOR West Shopping Centre and Retail Park is set to host a fun weekend full of festive cheer at their Christmas Food & Craft Fair weekend on this weekend.

A diverse mix of local artisan food producers and craftspeople will showcase their wonderful handmade products from 11am – 5pm on both days.

Throughout the year, Manor West has hosted a number of Food and Craft Fairs, welcoming  a wealth of artisan producers and diverse local entrepreneurs, providing them with a space to exhibit their delicious locally-made produce and beautiful handmade crafts free of charge.

Over the weekend, visitors will get the chance to meet Santa and his friends, as well as lots of fun including balloon modelling and face painting. Radio Kerry and Francis Jones will broadcast live from 11am – 1.45pm on December 8th and there will be the chance to win some fantastic spot prizes on the day.

Commenting ahead of the Food & Craft Fair weekend, Derek Rusk, Shopping Centre Manager stated, “Our Christmas Food and Craft Fairs are always a big hit and we look forward to welcoming everyone on December 8th and 9th. We are surrounded by so many wonderful food and craft producers here in Kerry and it has been a pleasure to welcome them to Manor West throughout the year. Our food and craft fair weekend will no doubt be a great weekend for the whole family, and the perfect opportunity to find some special gifts this Christmas.”

Speaking about the Christmas Fair, Brian Fitzgerald of Brian Fitzgerald Pottery who will be exhibiting at the fairs stated, “We are very much looking forward to exhibiting at the Food and Craft Fair weekend at Manor West on December 8th and 9th. The food and craft fairs are always such a wonderful event at Manor West, especially at Christmas and we are very thankful to have the opportunity to showcase our work. We look forward to meeting everyone throughout this fantastic weekend and sharing some yuletide cheer.”

Parking is free of charge at Manor West, with manned car parking areas over the festive period as well as extra parking opened daily behind Debenhams and beside Woodie’s during peak traffic times.

Children will also be able to visit Santa and his friends for free every Saturday and Sunday from 12-6pm, right up to Saturday, December 23rd.
