Frank Moynihan presents ‘Taste For Africa’ at The Tankard next week.

A FOODIE’S paradise awaits in The Tankard next week at special fundraiser for three charities.

‘Taste For Africa’ will feature cookery demonstration chef, Frank Moynihan, who has invited 10 local producers, largely from Fenit and surrounding area, to present a dish of their choice on the night. It’s not a sit down meal, but visitors will get a plate to go around to the ten exhibitors and sample their culinary delights.

Frank, who was a regular on the Gay Byrne radio show in years gone by, is promising a night to remember on Tuesday, April 5 from 7pm to 9pm at the Kilfenora venue.

There is no cover charge but those attending are asked to make a donation.

All proceeds from the night will go to Mary’s Dinners Malawi; Operation Smile (Irish-based charity for children with cleft lip and palate) and for students from Glenstal Abbey School who are going to  Kenya to build a wall and toilets at a school.

For further Information call Frank Moynihan on 086 262 7855.
