KERRY’s Dara Moynihan has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week beating fellow Kerry man Kevin McCarthy in a public vote.
Sean O’Shea had been voted Footballer of the Week for the past two weeks for his performances against Cavan and Tyrone.
This time it’s the Spa clubman who wins earning 6,450 votes on the Official GAA Instagram page with Mayo’s Ger Cafferkey second on 4,210 votes, and Kilcummin’s Kevin McCarthy third with 3,706 votes.

A talented crop of Kerry footballers are emerging with Dara Moynihan one of the stars of Saturday’s thrilling win over Dublin at Austin Stack Park.
Moynihan mined a couple of points, but his energy and application were a real feature during an accomplished Kerry performance.
Kilcummin were inspired by Kevin McCarthy in Saturday’s AIB All Ireland Intermediate Final at Croke Park where McCarthy was in brilliant form scoring 3-7 as the Kerry club claimed glory.
