Former Kerry Star Joins Eamonn Fitzmaurice’s Backroom Team

Liam Hassett has been announced as a selector for the Kerry senior team.

FORMER Kerry All-Ireland winner, Liam Hassett, has joined the Kerry senior team set-up as a selector.

The news comes as Eamonn Fitzmaurice announced his backroom team, where Padraig Corcoran is named as the new Trainer/Selector.

The Dingle club man trained the Kerry minor team in 2010 and 2011 as a member of Pat O’Driscoll’s management team and has been an important member of Éamonn Fitzmaurice’s back room team since 2012 where he has worked closely with the management as an S&C coach.

Liam Hassett joins Mikey Sheehy and Diarmuid Murphy as a selector. The Laune Rangers club man won three All Ireland Senior and two All Ireland Under 21 Medals, is a former All Star and the holder of three County Championship medals with his club.
