Let’s hope the weather is considerably kinder today after yesterday’s downpours. There’s still loads to see and do around town all day and all of the night…

1. Family fun all over town…

The weekend may be over but the town centre and Town Park will still be awash with street performers, children’s entertainers, musicians and more for the day.

Also there’s some tasty food at the markets. Don’t miss the fun.

2. Bring your dog to the show…

The annual dog show in the Town Park is always a huge attraction. There’ll be a whole host of categories so no matter what dog you have, they’ll be in with a chance of some prizes. It goes on between 2pm and 4pm.

3. Beautiful babies…

At the same time in the Town Park, there’s a bit of fun with a Bonny Baby Competition so proud moms and dads are invited to bring their little ones down. Pre-registration takes place at 2.30pm.

4. Music around the town…

If you’re not watching the Rose Selection on TV, then head on to the streets for a host of entertainment. There’s a marching bands display in The Square from 8-9pm, Matt Cunningham’s Céilí band in Denny Street between 8.30-10pm and rock out with Renovator in the Square between 10.30am and 12 midnight.

The pubs also have some great music with Chapter 2 in No.4 on the Square, Danny Goggin in the Brogue and over in the Rose Hotel there’s free nightly entertainment. Enjoy!
